Paste and tools

Good tools are the basis of a successful craft. With the right paste and equipment for wallpapering, the result will be even more beautiful and bring double the joy.

Here we go!

With the right tools and instructions, nothing can go wrong.

The right tools for perfect results every time

Whether the murals you are hanging are non-woven or paper, thorough preparation is key to a perfect finish. Not only will the mural then provide a stylish eye-catcher in the room, it also makes an exciting project for keen DIYers.

We have the right paste and tools for your Komar photomurals to keep everything wonderfully smooth without any air bubbles or creases.

The different tools

The application set includes a stirrer for mixing the paste as well as a flat brush, utility knife, roller and paint tray. The paste in the 100g pack is sufficient to cover an area of approx. 10 m². The handy paint tray facilitates the even distribution of adhesive on the wall. The stirred paste is poured into the paint tray and applied to the wall with the roller. The flat brush is used for hard-to-reach corners and edges because it can get into even the most hidden places on the walls.

Then follow the usual hanging process according to the Komar instructions. As a final step, cut off any excess with the utility knife.

Important tips for wallpapering with photomurals

  1. Preparing the wall: A clean, smooth wall surface is crucial. Old wallpaper residue should be completely removed.
  2. Mix the paste correctly: Use the stirring rod to mix the paste evenly.
  3. Apply evenly: Use the paint roller and the paint tray to spread the paste evenly.
  4. Precise work in corners and edges: The flat brush helps with hard-to-reach areas.
  5. Clean finishes: Carefully cut off any excess wallpaper with the cutter knife.

With the right tools and the right paste, you can wallpaper your photomurals in no time at all. Discover our comprehensive range of wallpapering accessories and start your next DIY project!
